You just can't see them playing.ĮFIT: I should probably point out that I only played on Expert. You can see where they rank in the group you're in. Though I'm usually playing against other people's scores rather than other people. You can have two guitarists and a vocalist. Seems more likely the former than the latter.Īll-in-all, I'm pleasantly surprised with Guitar Hero: Live, and I hope Acti keeps supporting it for years to come. Simply pay Hero Cash (IRL money) or play three specific songs and you can then access a short setlist of songs not otherwise available, yet. When you reach a certain rank, there are premium shows you can check out. Not interested in the songs currently playing? You can always use up plays (which can he bought with in-game currency or real-life money) in order to play whatever song you want. What songs can be pulled depends on the program playing at the time. Instead, you choose to play one of a couple channels available to you and songs appear from a 200+ song setlist at some sort of conditional random. The Live portion of the game is somewhat short with only 52 songs, about three of those being repeats, but GHTV greatly makes up for that, and funny enough, despite what people said before, GHTV isn't like a subscription service. The control scheme makes the game a lot harder, but it also feels more natural, in a way.

So I got the game on the 30th, and have since been playing the hell out of it.
